Help make a more livable home for the families of The Guidance Center

Many of our families are struggling to make ends meet and often have very few possessions of their own. As these families make the transition from temporary to permanent housing, purchasing many basic household items and furniture is just not possible. Please join us in making a more livable home for these families by participating in The Guidance Center's Annual Furniture Drive. How can you help?

Donate Furniture

We encourage you to donate gently used furniture and household items to the drive, and bring donations to our 111 South Street location in Somerville starting June 11^th. (Click here for map and directions). Below is a complete list of items needed.

Volunteer

Are you interested in helping to distribute the furniture and items to families in need? We will be distributing and delivering items on Saturday, July 7, 2012. Do you have a truck or have access to one? We’d especially love to hear from you! To volunteer, please contact Gail Council at gcouncil@riversidecc.org .
